Artist and Illustrator Daniela Frongia
What led you to become an illustrator and concept artist and when did you become an illustrator and concept artist?
I have been drawing since I was a child and I was always amused by comics and illustrations, I attended art school in Italy, after which I sent my first resume to a job offer and from there everything began.:)
What is your favorite aspect of being an illustrator and concept artist?
The thing that I most like about my job is to think about how each scene and color can be.
What have you learned the most from being an illustrator and concept artist?
I have learned that we need to always study, practice, and that there is no end to learning something or improving oneself.
What tips and ideas do you have for other’s who would like to be illustrators and concept artists?
Watch tutorials online, copy techniques and then do your own style , try, try and try again :)
What are your favorite features of being an illustrator and concept artist?
Letting my creativity loose!
What is at the heart of being an illustrator and concept artist that you want your viewers to take home?
I would like them to understand that, even if we draw as a job, it is always a very human work for us. In my case, illustration is my full-time job, and it is a very humanizing rather than mechanical outlet.
