Craftsy.com--a Crafter's Delight

Updated: Oct 28, 2019

Post by Onna Carr

This week, we discovered Craftsy.com's free pattern section, and we availed ourselves to several free patterns in sewing, knitting, crochet, and paper-crafting sections. We had known of Craftsy.com's free classes area, but not that they had so very, very, VERY many free and wonderful patterns ranging from bags, to dresses, to tops, to Pterodactyl costumes (how cool is that?!).

The whole thing started with an email highlighting a free wallet pattern that looked pretty, simple, and very cute. After going to Craftsy.com and scrolling to the bottom of the home page, I saw "Free Patterns" on the navigation bar and was positively floored by the cuteness and apparent quality of these free patterns (sometimes, you do get more than you pay for), and that is how I spent a weekend afternoon. I then emailed several friends to let them know about this section of Craftsy.com.

With the holidays fast approaching, it is the perfect time to whip up a wallet, sew up a skirt, or crochet a gnome keychain for that special someone using one of Craftsy's many free patterns! Visit Craftsy.com to access Craftsy's free patterns and free courses. Have a great and crafty weekend!!
