What led you to become an interior designer?

My becoming a designer is influenced by my previous career in the Performing Arts and Fashion in Europe. I have always been an artist since I was born. My parents often say I used to play musical instruments and sing since I was a toddler. At five years old, I started attending class at a Music Conservatory School and learned to read music and play piano. Then, I was introduced to ballet and never stopped dancing for twenty years. I became a professional ballet dancer at the Paris Opera Ballet and later a fashion model. Through all these years, I was embedded in the aesthetics of theatrical costumes, lights and fashion. This is where I learned to put together in magical ways textures, fabrics, furnitures, props and decor with a set of lighting that enhances one’s vision. After living in four different continents of the world and having a few different jobs, becoming an interior designer was a natural calling.
