The war was over, and they were traveling home to Atlanta. As the final whistle blew, Dar hurried everyone toward the train.

"Darcy?” a voice questioned as Dar assisted his family onto the train. “Collins?” Dar inquired in surprise. “Yes. These yours?” Collins crudely asked, nodding to Elizabeth and Will, who remained on the platform.

“No, Collins. We’re ours,” Dar answered as he helped Elizabeth onto the train and took Will into his arms.
