“Then, I will proceed. Mr. Darcy, your comments are inexcusable though I care about you too little to seriously consider your opinions of me, whether they are positive or negative. . .”
“. . . I delight in anything ridiculous, and you have certainly delighted me tonight,” Elizabeth said in reply as her fine eyes sparkled with good humor.
