By the end of Dar’s furlough, Elizabeth, the children, and Georgia were settled in a small cottage Dar had purchased for them. This enabled Elizabeth to remain close to her family and to Dar and Georgia’s grandparents until his return.
Elizabeth loved the children and her husband’s sister, Georgia. She and Georgia became the best of friends.
