Rise of Sharlock Holmes: Uncle Ed Remembers (Uncle Ed Remembers: Origins of 221B Book 1)--Part 1
I was buttoning my coat after giving a lecture on Plato and Mathematics when I looked up to see Ms. Sharlock Gershwin was still in the room. All the other students had left, but she remained, and it seemed to me she needed to ask something, but really did not want to.
Sharlock was a young student at Trinity. She was fifteen and had been deemed a Mensa at eight. She was tall and too thin for her frame. People had labeled her with Asperser’s syndrome, but she seemed to me to just have not had any care and to show it.
She had been at Trinity since fourteen, and at sixteen would most likely graduate with her doctorate in mathematics. I had never seen anyone with such a mind for numbers and mathematical knowledge.
