Post by Onna Carr

“Mr. Grady, I came to hear how you can lower my rent,” Elinor interposed. “It’s O’Grady, and as to the rent, here it is: we both are unmarried. So, why don’t we get married? We could split the rent, and we’d each be payin’ less than we did before the increase. I’d leave ye be: it’d be strictly a marriage o’ convenience. Before ye say no, think ‘bout it. I’d be a tidy roommate, and I’m acquainted with your ill humor, which is more than I can say for the general masses, meanin’ ye no great offense,” Mike finished, taking a draught from his pint.
