My parents left the city five years later with their Elee, Brandon, and Eddy, and they settled in Tipperary, where they built a cottage much like the one illustrated in the Tipperarian, hamlet cottage sketch, which was framed and prodigiously hung on their parlor wall. Mike loved his wife well, tended his children, and made his living by fishing, raising and selling produce in season, and painting out of season. Elinor loved and cared for her husband, her children, and her roses. Elinor and Mike had their Elinor, Marianne, Margot, Brandon, and Eddy along with Mike, Polly, and Patrick.
